stools or crates for kids to stand on.

if you need to sit for 5 minutes..unless you have an injury....then we are getting lazy in our old age

I use them because if not, then the position of the transmitter is too high for me.  uncomfortable.  Has nothing to do with age.

I had bought the stools used on the dirt drivers stand.  And they we bought for children or very short people.  The max weight they were designed for was 150 pounds not the 250 to 300 that some of these 6ft tall people.

The only reason full grown people use them is so that they can be above the rest of us.  The only thing it realy does is put their radio into our face causing us to lean out more to see our cars.

My opinion is that only kids and someone shorter that 5 ft 6 in should use them.

If Todd wants some more I'll get them.  I just don't think we need more than 2-3 on a stand.  Usually I am pushing 4-5 to the back wall  when I race.  They are just a pain.

He's the way I look at it if you need to stand on a stool (if there is no special need) so you can see one corner because of a remote you have more things to worry about

What would you do here

i dont thinks stools are a good idea... i tripped on one last weekend at rce... its actually dangerous, due to the fact they are so small... i say if someone needs one, just carry it up, as u go up and bring it back down after your race.

I believe the Swedish had a tool for the drivers stand railing that was developed for the 1/12th scale worlds. you can get them here http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_6970_200371015_200371015

The hardest thing about having step up stools on the stands is SAFETY.  The railings were set at their current height due to state regulations.
