how about a vintage race night like me i have a traxxas hawk but im gesing that there r more ppl whit old r/c in the closets/basemeant/etc

That sounds like a good idea...I have an old Tamiya Grasshopper and Hornet...a friend of mine has an old RC10...and I'm sure theres got to be more people out there.  By the way, what kind of hawk is it...nitro or electric, cause I got the Nitro version.

I love that we're posting in vintage thread about vintage buggies.   ^_^

My kids each have a vintage Grasshopper/Hornet hybrid and we also run a couple RC10 gold pan buggies and an original Hotshot.  I am restoring a Marui Samurai and a Traxxas Rad2 right now.  They can't hang with the new stuff, but the vintage rides are fun.

If that's not a joke, we usually run a vintage class up at Route106.  A couple regulars have both 2wd and 4wd buggies.
For me RCE is too far to race weekly.

lol look at that sucker jump! yesterday I cracked open a package with original spike tl-01 tires that i've had for years. can't wait to test them out!
